Schools

The Decatur City School District, consisting of four schools, all of which are high performing, will serve the young residents of Decatur. There’s Clairemont Elementary, Glennwood Elementary, Oakhurst Elementary, and Winnona Park Elementary for grades kindergarten through third.

The 4/5 Academy at 5th Avenue is for fourth and fifth graders, Renfroe Middle School, Decatur High School, and the newly-built College Heights Early Learning Center.

You’ll also find several top colleges in or around Decatur, including Emory University, Agnes Scott College, and Georgia Perimeter College.
